Make a Comic

Kids loves comics. Even grown ups loves comics. There’s something about those picture strips with the bright colours, speech bubbles and the fantasy worlds we are immersed in with our superheros saving the world. Who doesn’t love batman, superman or spiderman?

make a comicComics have stood the test of time and they are just as popular today as they were way back when I was a child. My brother and I loved the Marvel comics in particular and we even collaborated as young kids to make our own comic.

I have done comic strips with young students in my art classes where they invented their own characters and story board. They loved the activity and the results were excellent.

Why not get the kids to make a comic?

I came across this article recently from 24ways.org by Rebecca Cottrell about making a comic and will add more ideas to this article as I find them.
