Holiday Activities for Kids
Fantasy Art – Wednesday 22 January 2020 – 9am-1.30pm
In these holiday activities for kids the children will be creating a fantasy drawing or painting with their own character(s) in a wonder land. The children will complete an acrylic painting onto canvas or drawing onto paper and learn oodles of techniques along the way in this 4.5 hour workshop by professional artist Lesley Smitheringale.
About the Workshop at Engaged in Art
There are 8 places available in this workshop.
The workshop will go ahead when a minimum of 4 children have booked in and paid.
DO YOU OFFER A REFUND IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
I am unable to offer you a refund should you decide to cancel the workshop but you may swap for another workshop at a different time (if available), OR find another child to come along OR put it towards weekly art lessons when Term starts back in 2020. Planning and materials are organised and purchased for the workshops in advance, thank you for your understanding.
You will receive a full refund if we don’t get enough numbers to run the workshop or Lesley, the teacher, has to cancel.
WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING?
An IPad or tablet is handy for researching ideas but not essential. Bring your own morning tea and/or lunch if your child is on a special diet. Morning tea only is provided in the studio and snacks.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR TO THE WORKSHOP?
Please dress your child in old clothes as some activities can be messy. Alternatively provide your child with an apron or smock to wear. I don’t provide aprons in the studio due to lack of space.
CAN PARENTS STAY FOR THE WORKSHOP?
No, there is no room in the studio. The expectation is that parents will drop off children at the start of the workshop and pick up promptly when the workshop finishes.
